The Youth Training Program

The goal of the YTP is to foster a love for learning and introduce dancers to the discipline of ballet class. This program serves as the next step on our dancers' progression, bridging the gap between the Young Children's Program and our acclaimed Pre- Professional Program.

The Youth Training Program (Levels I-III) introduces dancers to the structure of a ballet class, beginning with Level I.

Level I
is the transition from our young children’s program into a more traditional ballet and jazz/contemporary class which includes barre/warm-up and center.

Level II (A/B) introduces dancers to body positions and directions, vocabulary, musicality, and ballet combinations.  Dancers will begin to see how their ballet terminology carries over into their jazz and contemporary studies.

Level III (A/B) is designed to prepare dancers for the advanced pre-professional training program by continuing to build strength, vocabulary, musicality, and passion.
